Server Rules

By using the Crywolf MU servers, you fully agree to the terms below. Please read carefully: not knowing the rules does not exempt the USER from their responsibilities nor from the applicable penalties.

Crywolf MU Obligations

  1. To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Crywolf MU servers, taking, together with the USERS, all necessary measures to prevent damage to their operation.
  2. To provide technical support to the USER, consisting of information about the server and the games, to the extent possible.
  3. To provide technical support via ticket, within a maximum of 7 days. Support by e-mail and telephone is excluded from the available support channels.
  4. To inform the USER 24 hours in advance about the interruptions required for technical adjustments or maintenance that take more than 3 (three) hours, except in cases of urgency, understood as those that put the regular operation of our network at risk (electric power company, internet connection, or hardware issues).
  5. To keep the server online 99.9% of the time (uptime guarantee - monthly average). Excluded from this guarantee are interruptions required for technical adjustments or maintenance, service interruptions caused by negligence of the companies involved in the internet connection process, and access line communication failures that are the responsibility of the Data Center. Also excluded are USER errors, theft or destruction through unauthorized access, hard drive failure (defective hardware is rare but cannot be predicted nor prevented), and unforeseen situations such as wars, earthquakes, typhoons, and other acts of God. Should the server go offline for reasons other than those listed above, Crywolf MU guarantees that no user will be harmed, later compensating any delay in gameplay.
  6. To perform "backups" every 1 hour of ALL registered accounts. No guarantee is given, in any form, regarding the integrity of these backups. Backups are made for the sole purpose of restoring the servers, should any accidental physical damage occur to a machine's main HD. If there is data loss affecting ALL USERS due to an error on the part of Crywolf MU, Crywolf MU will recover the data through the backups, solely and exclusively if ALL users are affected by the loss.

The User Is Prohibited From

The penalty for violating the conditions below may result in suspension or termination of all accounts involved, under the same ownership, or in the offender's possession, WITH NO RIGHT TO REFUND of contributed amounts.
  1. Improper use of in-game bugs, "hack/cheat" programs, item duplication, or abuse of bugs not approved for use on the server. All applications approved for use can be found in the Download area of the website.
  2. Disrespecting administrators or other players.
  3. Being complicit with ill-intentioned players and accepting improper help in the game.
  4. Offensive complaints and/or criticism toward events held by the GMs in the game. Events are not an obligation of Crywolf MU, but rather situations created with the intent to further entertain the game's participants. No player is required to take part in an event, and therefore has no right to file complaints.
  5. Buying, selling, trading, or donating accounts. Accounts no longer accessed by their owner lose all right to support and are subject to immediate suspension.
  6. Sharing accounts with friends, family, or any other person. Two or more people playing on the same account results in serious security problems. Possible loss of items/jewels or passwords will never be regarded as server faults.
  7. Displaying threats against the Crywolf MU team, of any kind and in any situation. Every threat will be regarded as disrespect and will result in immediate suspension.
  8. Obtaining accounts or items improperly, whether through personal data or negotiations, taking advantage of another player's naivety or lack of attention.
  9. Buying or selling items/jewels for money or any other goods that do not belong to the game itself.
  10. Circumventing ownership/device restrictions to benefit oneself, benefit third parties, or harm others in events, giveaways, and similar.

User Duties

  1. To take care not to lose items in trade, by showing them to strangers, or by keeping the trade, vault, or Chaos Machine open for too long, risking the loss of items in case of disconnection from the server. This includes item loss caused by carelessness with the password. Any items in the account are the TOTAL responsibility of the USER, and Crywolf MU is not responsible for offering any kind of guarantee regarding their maintenance.
  2. Not to accept help from strangers regarding items or password.
  3. To safeguard the security of their password, not allowing others to see them typing it, and keeping their computer free of spyware and keyloggers, which may leak their password to other ill-intentioned users.
  4. To make financial transactions with Crywolf MU ONLY IF certain of their action. Under no circumstances will Crywolf MU refund contributed amounts in case of any subsequent dissatisfaction regarding the gameplay of the servers, loss of account data, or items acquired in the game.
  5. REGARDING LOGIN AND ACCESS PASSWORD: The login and password for this service are created by the USER when opening the account in the system. The USER may change their password if desired. Crywolf MU reserves the right to change the password at any time. In this case, Crywolf MU will inform the USER of the new password, except if the USER has irregularities in their registration. The login cannot be changed. The password may be changed at any time by the USER through the control panel.
  6. To keep accounts active by logging into the game at intervals never longer than 1 year. Accounts with inactivity of 12 months or more may be permanently deleted, with no right to a partial or full refund of contributions made during the registered period.
  7. Items acquired in the In-Game Shop (X key) must be used within 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase. After this period, the items will be permanently deleted, with no right to refund. This includes buff items, rings, invitations, and others, obtained through events on commemorative dates such as Halloween and Christmas, for example.
Safekeeping the password for system access is the exclusive responsibility of the USER. Crywolf MU shall not be held responsible for its misuse or loss.

Final Provisions

Crywolf MU reserves the right to change any technical procedure or clause of the terms regarding the contracted services without prior notice.

Should the USER be dissatisfied with the service provided, they must leave our servers, with no need for notice, and with no right to any kind of refund, since every contributed amount was already delivered to them while they were satisfied with the Crywolf MU servers.
